He wrote his first script in 1989 at the prompting of a writer friend. He entered his second script, Neon Cactus, into the Academy Sponsored Nicholl Fellowship and the script was a quarter finalist. Since that time he has penned more than 25 screenplays and conjured up a file drawer full of concepts.

Philip will enter the production phase of Thorns From A Rose, a horror thriller, with 22 Seventeen Productions, who hired him to rewrite the initial script with scriptwriter Byron Browne.
