Jupiter’s Sanctions ~ 18 October 2010

My original intention was to submit this Galactic Times closer to the end of the month, concurring with the alignment of Venus in between the Earth and the Sun (01:05 GMT, 29 October). However, in reviewing archived notes for future Galactic Times, I found a series of heliocentric Jupiter notations that deserve immediate discussion and given the appearance of the next of these important influences before the end of the month, I needed to push the date of this Galactic Times forward.

Anyway, with Venus to Earth and Sun matters may slip through the cracks. This is a good news/bad news alignment. If you are in the position of juggling heaps of material relating to financial/economic circumstances, personally, professionally or within a volunteer organization, be on your toes. Let nothing escape your attention. Scoop up an added dollop of vigilance when budgeting, cutting checks, conducting online payments and any other issue that could hold any possible Venus implication... resource assessments, pipes through which liquids flow, corporate protocols, social networking. On the good news side, if you’ve been shunned before for funding, credit, approval into a professional organization (while the country club could also fit here as an interpretive icon, better to leave that alone), it’s time to seek out what funding you need to get your most important projects completed. Apply, submit, enter or reapply, resubmit, modify initial renderings and reapply. If more information is requested, balk not. Fill in what appears to be missing pieces and get it done.

Of course as I report that the Galactic Times shall occur on a reduced frequency, I read a recent posting by Mike Brown indicating that the race is on, and in progress, to scan the Southern Hemisphere for Kuiper Belt Objects, which may render more planets/dwarf planets. According to Brown, three teams will compete for the non existent prizes in the world of Kuiper discoveries. Some of Brown’s work presently is to review past and recent photos of the heavens for evidence of new planets - within our solar system. I’ll keep you posted as I find out about these discoveries, even though interest in the Kuiper Belt and dwarf planets largely wanes both in the astronomical community and more sadly, the astrological community.

Part of the present Venus retrograde might be reactivation of important matters in which one has lost interest. Astronomers have moved on from planets in our solar system to extra-solar planets where all the buzz and evidently funding, is located. As for the planetary discoveries in the Kuiper Belt, who cares? They’re not that big and no way they can support life, so seems the attitude to be. Those looking for help in the evolutionary steps and dealing with life post-Pluto (as in after a personal Pluto passage) would do well to care about these planets offering helpful steps toward improved personal and planetary worlds.

Here’s something potent to aid and abet the Venus push to redirect priorities. Jupiter has been, is now over the next months, offering a series of sanctions and promising to support goals, that if reset, match the passages he’ll make to orbital elements of dwarf planets in the near future.

Should you be feeling a general titillation regarding getting on with it and/or securing results surrounding your grander goals in life, there’s a reason. There’s also a reason for the chomping at the bit angst, impatience with waiting, and feeling the need do something... anything... while not so graciously waiting. The reason: As the Sun sees it, Jupiter recently jumped into Aries... October 9th, offering a spirit stirring swirl of energy to lock onto to the highest of aspirations and pioneer the path of those aspired ideas. Given the heliocentric view, for each of the following passages, Jupiter asks two questions:

1.) What more do you need to acquire that will better your soulful status on Earth?

2.) What do you need less of that will better your soulful status on Earth?

Next up for Jupiter: he’ll conjoin the perihelion (closest contact to Sun within the orbital path) of Haumea on October 20. Cull, cut, condense and then recommit to your core spiritual group. Those who fit, naturally fit. Those who do not, simply cannot enter the inner chambers where the meetings regarding the efforts you seek to invoke take place. By no means does this imply an elitism of one spirit-based grouping over another. Nor does this suggest that one person’s core group is superior to another. While Feng Shui and astrology both bear the labels of spiritual templates for better living, each template may agree with the other’s precepts or not. And if not, the other simply is not used. Use what works and bond with those who further your progress.

There’s a bit of an Eris antidote here. Locate your core spirit clan. If you think you’ve found your natural affiliations in consciousness and you cannot get the time of day from them, maybe that’s not it. Again, the fit should be natural. And in knowing where you organically fit or where others and their agendas merge with yours, the matter of inclusion-exclusion, Eris’ Achilles heel, can be soothed. Just for the heck of it, if you’re on social networking, why not delete all the “friends” that serve you no purpose? Having an electronic empire of millions may not be the attribute it is perceived to be, especially when extreme posting urges possess your mouse click finger.

This theme borrows heavily from a physical metaphor derived from Haumea’s physical attributes. Ages ago the object that is Haumea suffered a collision from another body, causing several objects to be ripped from Haumea. Two of these bodies became moons now in orbit around Haumea, Hi’iaka, Namaka. Others include seven large chunks of ice traveling within her orbit and likely the body, 2009 YE7, quite some distance away. Essentially, Haumea keeps two bodies close... part of her inner circle. She holds several at a bit more of a distance; these bodies do not have the stuff or proximity to become moons. Though within the same orbital framework, they cannot become part of her most personal clan. And YE7 long ago was cast away by the collision... or voted off the island in reality TV vernacular. In her physical orbit, Haumea clearly spells out the agenda of spiritual socialization. Those who can be close, include. Those who do not fit may offer more mayhem than magic in their efforts at inclusion. Considering that Haumea’s Leo nodal theme demands clarity of one’s spirit and a sense of the Universe of which one is central, she also insists upon shedding the “worlds in collision” mentality while maintaining the realization that every person is at the center of her/his own universe. Ultimately, the urgency of Haumea with her energetic and vital early Aries closest solar contact, demands confidence, certainty and a clear sense about who/what/where is a good fit or not - a theme presently pushed center stage where the lights are the brightest courtesy of stage director Jupiter.

Next month Jupiter conjoins the aphelion (most-distant point from the Sun in the orbital path) of a relatively new, unnamed dwarf planet, colloquially known as Snow White, largely due to the body’s extreme brightness. This alignment comes into exactitude on November 24. This yet unnamed body sorely needs astronomical attention and naming per the disinterest trend mentioned above so astrologers can add mythology to basic assessments of the planet (dwarf). Interest in naming this body, pales by comparison to the enthusiasm over Eris, Makemake and Haumea. Mike Brown reported in an e-mail (quite) a while ago that he really hadn’t given this body any serious naming consideration. Maybe now with the search firing up down under this bright object can receive proper reflection.

This body, 225088 (minor planet number), presently seems to be enduring the quality oft reported by Pisces of being over looked. Pisces is the object’s north node. However, the aphelion, soon takes on an amplified look from Jupiter. Almost contradictorily when considering the surge brought forth by Jupiter, the aphelion bears a “take it easy, slow it down, sit and contemplate and “chill a while quality.” Again though, Jupiter’s emphasis is on an Aries contact. What do you need in terms of taking a respite, regaining perspective and keeping your inner light on at all hours of the day and night? The Pisces node of this body reminds a spirit that the spiritual, creative paths must be fulfilled. That is a primary agenda of this body whose leisurely stroll of 550+ years about the Sun fits right in with the orbital period of Eris. The object 225088 notes that if you fulfill creative and spiritual agendas of the highest order, recognition follows. The body also promotes the concept that one cannot be on or off all the time. Sometimes the outward shining must be vastly shared. Sometimes the light must be recharged, as is likely to occur whilst Jupiter activates the object’s aphelion.

Jupiter’s next sanction occurs as he forms direct alignment with the aphelion of Eris on December 27th. Again, Jupiter is making contact with a planet’s retreat, reflect and recharge orbital contact point, and again the contact is in Aries, pounding out the point he wants us to get. You’ve got to save some of yourself for you... or maybe you’ve just got to save yourself and immunize yourself from the crisis of fitting in/being an outcast. There is a nationally known politician local to my state working so hard to fit in that he has shed his previously cultivated maverick status. In the quest for social acceptance, Facebook friends, popularity, fame, acclaim, can one uphold perfect authenticity and individuality? Jupiter intends to help you find out as he works in precise coordination with the goddess of discord to cast off factors in life that stimulate discord and strife instead of ease and opportunity.

In accord with these Jupiter pushes, after my last Galactic Times, the most consistent theme reported back by readers is that they are experiencing Internet burn out and electronic devices over extension. If you have a few fast fingered friends, how can you possibly read all their forwards or enjoy all the You Tube/Vimeos they send your way? Many of my peers who regularly publish electronic newsletters shared my sentiments about e-zines. You have to filter these things, right? Similarly, Eris demands that you filter social interactions, causes, quests, acquaintances all in the interest of ensuring that you waste no time or allow your energy to be uselessly consumed. Jupiter and Eris cooperate in a consciousness-oriented, conspiratorial manner that seeks to define that the ultimate and most tragic exclusion in life is that of excluding yourself from life by spending so much time on nothing that the quest of incarnation fails to find time and energy to create fulfillment. A theme that receives the sanction of this week’s conjunction of Ceres to Pluto, which bears the theme “set yourself free from internal arguments that confine your creativity and debilitate perceptions of your brightest essence. Work to avoid the tendency to prove yourself right about matters of your abilities about which you long to realize your fears and perceptions are wrong.

Before this year concludes, conclude an assessment of what social standards you chose to uphold and which you intend to reject. Refine your personal vision of where you fit in society, on the bell curve, and with respect to those you perceive to be compliant lemmings. Establish a clear vision of the economic well-being slot you’d like to adopt. Cut out meaningless, time consuming, trophy type social situations and affiliations. Find your perfect spiritual clan. Heartily invest in purpose related activities. Flesh out all your creative visions. Seek the fulfillment of your spirit as if there’s no tomorrow.

There are yet another two Jupiter sanctions of great importance in the near future as Jupiter comes to conjunct his own perihelion and that of Makemake on March 17, 2011. This will be thoroughly addressed in future Galactic Times, the reduced frequency of posting notwithstanding. Given Jupiter’s embellishment and the profound potency of the dwarf planets and their dharmic doings, a few bite-size morsels may be enough for now.
