Healing Visions? ~ 12 February 2010

Well, this next week we pass the last exact conjunction of Chiron to Neptune. Granted Chiron and Neptune have one more close encounter at the end of the year (October - November), but for technical precision, they wrap up their combined agenda early next week. Sure there’s a few things left in storage from the move, and Chiron and Neptune will return to the secondary issues later this year with no harm done. However, the primary issues suggested by this alignment of forces require immediate attention.

As well, the Chiron-Neptune agenda received the exotic embellishment of Jupiter during this past year. For all intents and purposes Chiron and Neptune aligned early in 2009 and the configuration thickened with Jupiter’s involvement during the mid months of last year and again throughout the past couple of months.

In the United States the Chiron-Neptune agenda maintained a very clear persona: can federal legislators come together and create national health care? Lies and aspersions - the shady side of Neptune - were cast by both sides... death panels, coverage for illegal aliens, lies about coverage plans, and lobbying supporters. A huge remaining snag is the issue of abortion - should it be covered or not, and if so, under what circumstances? One application of Chiron addresses the issue (will or desire) of the spirit joining the physical body and loosely symbolizes abortion. This matter stands central in the health care debate... as does the Neptunian realm of pharmaceutical and insurance lobbies and with Neptune’s involvement, the fog around all these issues approaches zero visibility.

Now, as the Chiron-Neptune pattern concludes, the President wants to conduct a televised debate with the principles. Some demand that the existing plan be scraped before they’ll show up at the table. Guys, if you did that you’d be disregarding the transit and failing to capitalize on this final push. And with your constitutional slowness, given a fresh start it’s unlikely you can get it done by October to use the last lingering connection between the bodies. Jeez, work with an astrologer, not lobbyists. Course, maybe astrologers are simply planetary lobbyists.

Globally we dealt with Swine Flu fears. But a few days ago and within a week or of Chiron’s last meeting with Neptune, online articles declared the Swine Flu epidemic over. I wrote at the beginning of the Swine Flu fears that I couldn’t actually tell if it was fear-based hype (and if so, for what gain?) or reality. As Chiron leaves Neptune, I say let’s tally it up and file the facts. Also in medical news this week, a major study that linked inoculations to autism was refuted and many in the media and medicine arenas piled on that bandwagon. Yet another medical studied released their findings that soda can be linked to pancreatic cancer - research conclusions appearing as Venus, the ruler of sweeteners, aligned with Chiron and Neptune.

What does the last pass of Chiron to Neptune mean to individuals feeling their way through exceptionally worrisome times? Well, given the healing, health implications, if you need to check something out in your body, do not tarry, especially if you have personal planets transited by the pattern. Given that Neptune - and Jupiter in Pisces, too for that matter - deal with denial, paranoia, embellished emotion and fantastical imagination, either find out if you have something real to deal with or put your fears to rest. Reset your center of physical well-being.

Of course, the psychic level of this pattern is huge. The catch phrase for Chiron is the “wounded healer yada-yada.” More critical to Chironic development are the personally perceived flaws that the psyche may harbor that incite the inner critic to blurt “not enough” blitz lines and always at the worst possible time. These sharp accusations include: not smart enough, not loved enough, not tall enough, not clever enough, not handsome enough, not creative enough, not pretty enough, not wanted, not loved and what have you. Consider the added subconscious pressures of idealized personifications presented by advertising that declare how the perfect earthling should appear, act and aspire. Fortunately, we have reality television to show us some of the other side of humankind’s polarization of the perfection spectrum.

Presently, everyone feels Chiron-Neptune. Here in the United States the President has met with both political aisles to attempt a rally behind important healing issues for the country and as noted before, plans more. Similarly, former vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin felt the same calling as she spoke to the Tea Bag Convention this past weekend, intending to “lift American spirit.” Of course, she did so with hand notes. Literally, her crib sheet was written in the palm of her hand; the root of Chiron, chirugy means skilled with the use of the hands. Was this not skill!? Despite the divergence of these politicians’ views, both responded perfectly to the urging of Chiron-Neptune. In another arena of public revelation of Chironic response, comedian Sarah Silverman declared that her former beau, comedian and talk show host, Jimmy Kimmel, never called her pretty.

Forget about the public figures and the fact that the New Orleans Saints (Neptune, Jupiter in Pisces name) over came impossible odds (Neptune favors underdogs, Jupiter in Pisces holds the faith) to win the Super Bowl (a Jupiter thing) and to render a major healing upon the spirit (Chiron) of the City of New Orleans. How about some Chiron-Neptune in Aquarius prescriptions for personally sagging spirits?

Aquarius:

Get back in your dang body. How? Well...

Take time to visualize or meditate blood flowing beyond your wrists and ankles into your hands and feet, thus restoring circulation.

Eat some live fresh fruit. See if you feel the energy of the live fruit entering your body as well enjoying the benefits of digestive absorption.

Engage in activities that inspire human connection (despite the technical implications of Aquarius, try human contact instead of computer or device-based connection).

Celebrate Valentine’s Day. If single, buy yourself some flowers, cook a good meal and enjoy a soak in the tub. If you’re coupled up... well, you know what to do.

Develop a healthy level of compassion, observing your place on the page regarding sympathy and empathy.

Remember all people on the planet are part of the pool of humankind

Conjure big wishes with far-reaching scope.

Chiron:

Consider seeing a chiropractor (same root word)

Make a list of the scripts submitted by your inner critic. Burn them and fire that critical bastard.

Detach your perception of your talent from the eager critics in your life.

Visualize your spirit perfectly centered inside your body.

Shift your physical center of balance.

Document your undeniable attributes and talents.

Neptune:

Monitor your sensitivity to food, recreational substances and the environment, making necessary adjustments.

Fantasize. Dare to dream. Recover ancient aspirations that may have been squelched by reality mongers.

Each and every day, allow time for uninhibited creative expression and development of your talent.

Affirm the right of your spirit to exist.

Refine your view of the Creator, the mystery of life, the secret of aspiration, however that fits in your consciousness, whether agnostic, atheistic, God-fearing, God Loving or multi-godly.

Okay then. Restore your personal humanity and by taking care of only that, the world gets a bit better.
