Ready to Launch ~ 31 December 2007 / 01 January 2008

Ready to launch? It’s a brand, spanking new year and this one’s here to kick some cosmic butt. First, let’s shed all the shivers of 2007. For most, according to reports of events and assessment of the year, it was one of the strangest, off beat, unsyncopated years in quite awhile. Might as well do your best to shake it off. The tools to do so stand readily available. Consider the potent Mars-Pluto opposition that forms as Mars retrogrades back into Gemini coming up to oppose the Galactic Center. A safety tip: Mars and Pluto can be a bit volatile (okay, that’s understated). No sense starting the New Year out with a heated philosophical conflict with a fellow human also intending to revel in the new year with gusto; save that energy for your tasks to come. Maybe exercise care around incendiary celebration devices and if meditating your way into the year to reset consciousness, ensure you stop short of spontaneous combustion (there I’m sort of kidding).

One other safety tip here: Solar astronomers issued telegrams indicating the possibility of coronal mass ejections (CME’s) and flares over the next few days as if ushering in the new year. As these have been minimal of late, let us recall there is a potential surge of energy that could be felt if eruptions set off the new year with their version of fireworks. The resulting energy surges can make a body and mind feel all fluttery, mildly disoriented and induce inexplicable uneasiness. These possible solar eruptions re-enforce the need to start this year grounded, connected and focused. A nice walk in nature might work wonders.

Should you take that hefty Mars-Pluto and ground to the Earth while aligning your spine with the axis of the Earth’s spin, perhaps perfect synchronization matches your effort. In a few days Mars exactly opposes the Galactic Center, resetting recent inspirations received and derailed by the requirements of holiday energy expenditure. No need to fuss about the exact date (but it is the 10th). The window of opportunity to enhance previous insights remains open for the next couple of weeks. Tune it and let the insights roll.

As well, the cadence that guides the initial steps of the year comes from the constant beat of Capricorn. With the Sun, Mercury and Jupiter tapping out the steady, stone by stone consciousness of accumulation, accretion and abundance, listening to that drummer serves all plans well. Given the connection of the planets in Capricorn and Jupiter’s sweeping surge through Cap all year long, a plethora of pulsing binary x-ray accretion pulsars shower us with amplified messages, helpful hints, cosmic clues and inspiring insights. The message of these pulsars perfectly aligns with Capricorn’s theme of: “Do it.” These bodies require that a person chat less about the time line, and instead, assess energy resources to engage with the clear soulful motive that amps a person’s energy one more time for just enough to get the ball rolling, or in this case, approach a new year with restored enthusiasm.

This next year could not be better for bringing creative vision to light. Concepts, ideas, inventions and consciousness protocols that work to make life simpler and goals easier to accomplish stand to become ultra successful. You could take a hint from movies. The New Year’s Day movie box office often is a big one as people take one last diversion before hitting the new year running. Should you decide to take in an afternoon movie, look around for the screenwriters. They’re the guys and gals with a note pad, poised pen, a small but annoying light and a stop watch tracking the beats of the movie. Every movie has a clock written into that regulates the dramatic ebb and flow, comedic punchlines and leads the viewer through the intricately woven plot. The point being: underscoring every creative effort is the structuring essence of the Saturn/Capricorn archetypes. Once inspiration occurs it requires time, energy and effort to manifest its result in real world terms. To express inspiration successfully and have it understood in real world terms, it must clock in ways familiar to people and carry a theme that resonates with the nature of life.

2008 carries such energies. Grab the insights at the get go, establish and confirm energy resources, create a structure - a bowl-like container, if you will, that can harbor your creative energy - around which you can wrap your inspiration. And when you know the time is right and sense a hungry humankind out there, launch.

Happy New Year! May all your creative aspirations be met with receptivity and success.

I’d like to thank you all for their interest and support this past year. I look forward to sharing more of the information that comes my way.
