Doing Your Dangest ~ 12 July 2006

While we endure the havoc of Mercury retrograde (and I got more than my share on a short trip this past weekend) do your dangest to keep your wits about you and the confusion in perspective. While you may encounter delays due to weather, blocked off roads, paperwork confusion that makes one wonder if anyone can read any more and forgetting your shopping list, that’s all minor stuff. The rule, especially on the 18th of July, is pay attention, focus and shoot straight. Despite Mercury appearing to move backwards, on the 18th, the Sun, Mercury and Earth stand in a tidy row. This permits a straight shot forward for those doing their dangest to keep clear on all the critical points of life. Actually, the minor mental hiccups induced by Mercury pale in comparison to the bigger burps in the galactic structure. No, I’m not suggesting the Universe suffers from acid reflex - only that those not digesting the energy morsels dished out, sell themselves short at the galactic energy buffet line.

Consider that this week’s astronomical telegrams include the reporting of three newly detected hard x-ray sources in the galactic plane (22 Gemini 22, 20 Aquarius 38, 0 Pisces 49). Yes, indeed, step right up. Take a hard look at what’s inside. See it for what it is. Judge it not. Just see it, decide how to address it, and move along smartly from there. Should that not be enough for you (or making direct enough impact in your chart - or so you think), consider the optical and energy outbursts of 4U 1608-522 seen since June 29th. This oddity, quiescent since December of 2005, acts up from its position in the constellation known as the Carpenters Square, specifically located at 11 Sagittarius 20. Here we get a mix of the rise of both x-rays and optical energies. There’s no subtly involved. You can see it. You can feel it. You can see what makes it tick on the inside. Now what do you want to do with it?

Not sure, but still willing to do your dangdest? Consider the assistance rendered by 1E 161348-5055, located in the super nova remnant RCW103. Interestingly, this point aligns with the ecliptic at 11 Sagittarius 51, in the same basic position as the energizing component in the carpenter’s square. You know that old back to the drawing board kind of thinking? This is it. Whether or not you connect with these points directly, these are the galactic sign posts that align the carpenter’s square with what’s so - at least in this moment. Get back on the drawing board and make the blueprint required to guide hammers, saws and nails.

A little hard to digest? No worries. Just following the blue bits of light jetting from RCW103 (actually it’s from the 1E161... object, just easier to type - especially during Mercury retrograde). The natural cycle of this body works around every 6.7 hours. Consider it to be something you put in a pot that needs to simmer. And simmer it does - for nearly seven hours. Bite off a morsel of insight, chew on it, swallow and digest it. Consider that when someone says, “I’ll get back to you,” and assuming they’re doing their dangest to cope with and ingest galactic radiation, that means almost seven hours from now. Ease back just a bit on the “I need an answer now,” throttle as long as promised responses occur within a work day. Sometimes, people need to emotionally adjust to information, insight and inspiration.

Regardless, it’s all about understanding what’s really going on. To fully grasp the significance of any moment, it must be seen in its obviousness and inobviousness simultaneously. It’s the same as having a foot in both worlds, bridging the gap, understanding paradox and duality and realizing that as is true in Mercury retrograde, where you stand determines what you see. Better than being a know it all sort, why not aspire to be a see it all and grasp it all sort? You see what you see and you clearly grasp that there are infinite points of view. The vision that serves your direction and aspiration best, requires your attention and alignment. Do your dangest to see, feel and sense it all.
